What we’re about
The Level Up Toastmasters Club, formerly Morelli House, was founded by 3 members of the Junior League of Las Vegas. The founders of Level Up Toastmasters are Kris Hostetter, Michele Shafe, and Suzette Wheeler. This spin-off club was named after the historically significant Morelli House which is owned by the Junior League of Las Vegas.
To keep our club on trend and focused on the mission of our club a rebrand to Level Up Toastmasters was done in May of 2024.
With this newly branded Level Up Toastmasters Club, the founders aimed to be a diverse group for both men and women to be able to improve their public speaking and leadership skills, while at the same time creating an environment of giving, all while using the newest technologies available to Toastmasters.
Whether you meet with people face to face today or virtually, your communication skills are a vital part of your success. A good communicator can make or break your next business pitch or proposal.
Yes, our club has a history, but we are also looking to the future by embracing technology such as video and AI to enhance our member experience. Each speech will be recorded for future analysis and review by the member. The member will be able to upload the video and obtain an additional review by using AI as provided through our Toastmasters International membership. Our goal is to be a comfortable, supportive environment to help you develop your speaking skills, and help you learn to speak extemporaneously.
Please join us! We are located in Henderson at Mimi's Restaurant, 596 North Stephanie, Henderson, NV 89014 or via Zoom as we are a hybrid club.
We do a simulcast live stream of our meetings via Zoom for those who cannot join in person. If you RSVP to our Meetup we will email you the Zoom instructions. Please be sure to RSVP so you get the Zoom link. Also, if you have any technical difficulty connecting to us via Zoom, please do not struggle. Send us a message through this page so we are alerted and can troubleshoot your issue.
