Welcome to your bodies, the bodies of all sizes and shapes and abilities and challenges. Welcome to all ages, those of you who are younger, and elder. Welcome people from all economic backgrounds and all your current situations.
Welcome to all sexual orientations, whether gay or lesbian or bisexual, pansexual, heterosexual, queer, or others for whom, again, these labels don’t fit. Welcome to all faiths and traditions.
For sure there are some of the other aspects of your diversity that you would like to welcome into this space that I missed. Welcome to all of them, welcome to all of you.
The purpose of our group is to practice and gain understanding of the foundations of mindfulness and meditation. Together we will explore different meditation practices.
We will meet once a week every Wednesday at 9:15am ET for about 45 minutes to practice together and have a conversation about mindfulness and meditation. Our meditation practice will be 30 minutes.
