What we’re about
This group is currently under construction, but I aim to include various events and accountability meetups focusing on:
- Fitness & Wellness
- Mental Health Support
- Creativity (Art & Crafts)
- Skill Sharing
- Journaling
- Inclusive Chat events
We are seeking inclusive individuals (disabled, LGBT+, etc.) who are friendly, willing to share their interests, and looking for accountability partners. While most events are currently virtual, I plan to expand into the Portland, Oregon community and organize local meetups.

About the host:
Hi, I'm Kacey! Pronouns are he/they. I like to craft, write, paint, workout, get into drag, advocate for the lgbt+ and disabled communities, listen to all different types of music, watch endless movies, and lie to myself that I'll get around to reading. Haha
I'm personally looking for a community that genuinely looks out for each other and wants to learn about eachother.
There are a few disclaimers with joining these events, though.
I don't need to disclose this information, but I do so that others feel less "othered" when bringing up their diagnosis's, as well as, feel comfortable in this group disclosing mental health info if they feel they need or would like to for context. You NEVER have to disclose anything personal or your mental health diagnosis. It's just a personal decision I do, so that people don't feel as though I'm being rude if I'm at a sudden loss for words. I appreciate you understanding and being patient in moments when I do have some difficulty. So, as of today, I am currently diagnosed with panic disorder, OCD, bipolar 2, autism, adhd, and PTSD. So, if I get stuck on my words sometimes, you have been warned that I do have some communication barriers that I am learning to work around and I appreciate the patience of anyone that joins any of the meetup events that I host.
I am also very much part of the lgbt+ community. I feel like I'm half the queer alphabet, haha. I am a monogamous, happily married, pansexual. I am a non-binary trans man. I usually just boil it down to that I'm just REALLY QUEER. But, my pronouns are always he/they. Even in drag, I may express myself fluidly, but I still go by he/they pronouns always. I really appreciate everyone for respecting that. I would like to make friends that relate, or are very accepting (not just tolerating) of lgbt+ folks. I've been out as a gay individual since high school, and I came out as a trans dude back in 2018, about 6 years ago.
I'm seeking to get a deeper understanding of myself, while creating deep connections with others. If you have any feedback, tips, or resources that you feel might be helpful to this group - please feel free to comment or leave me a message if you like!
Update [7/28/24]:
Will be creating more meetup groups shortly. I have been a little preoccupied with assisting my husband through a surgery recovery the last few weeks (and will last a few more weeks). As soon as I'm back into a routine, I'll make sure to add those new meetup groups.
Hope to see you there! It's been really nice meeting so many different interesting people from all over, I hope you all decide to keep joining.

Hellooooo, I’m Kacey! I use the pronouns he/they. I absolutely love journaling, and trying out different techniques. I love journaling so much that I do it everyday. But, I set this time specifically to allow myself and others a moment throughout the week to really hone in on what’s going on in our heads. And also a space to chat about those thoughts or epiphanies that might come up.
Disclaimer: These events are a friendly and welcoming community for people with conditions like ADHD, autism, and other diagnoses. LGBT+ safe space.
8:30 AM - 8:35 AM: Welcome chat/introduce yourself if you’re comfortable
8:35 AM - 8:55 AM: Working on journal prompt with calming background music
8:55 AM - 9:00 AM: Show off work/talk about what you came up with if you’d like to share
9:00 AM: Some people leave around this time, at 9:00 AM. If they don’t feel comfortable sharing, please feel free to stay and listen in or you’re welcome to sneak out of the event for whatever the reason may be. I don’t want anyone feeling pressured to share if they don’t want to.You can keep your camera and mic on or off, whatever you're comfortable with. Though, I will mute everyone during the journaling prompt time, so background noise doesn’t potentially disturb anyone.
Please don’t hesitate to put in the chat any questions that you might have. I’ll stay alert and keep an eye on the chat in case anyone needs further clarification or examples. Don’t worry about coming in late, just know I will mute you upon entering if people are journaling - but I’ll put the prompt in the chat so that you’re able to join in when you can.
Please, feel free to message me with questions, suggestions, or feedback. It’s all very much appreciated, so that I can create better meetup events in the future. Thanks!
