Hellooooo, I’m Kacey! I use the pronouns he/they. I absolutely love journaling, and trying out different techniques. I love journaling so much that I do it everyday. But, I set this time specifically to allow myself and others a moment throughout the week to really hone in on what’s going on in our heads. And also a space to chat about those thoughts or epiphanies that might come up.
Disclaimer: These events are a friendly and welcoming community for people with conditions like ADHD, autism, and other diagnoses. LGBT+ safe space.
8:30 AM - 8:35 AM: Welcome chat/introduce yourself if you’re comfortable
8:35 AM - 8:55 AM: Working on journal prompt with calming background music
8:55 AM - 9:00 AM: Show off work/talk about what you came up with if you’d like to share
9:00 AM: Some people leave around this time, at 9:00 AM. If they don’t feel comfortable sharing, please feel free to stay and listen in or you’re welcome to sneak out of the event for whatever the reason may be. I don’t want anyone feeling pressured to share if they don’t want to.
You can keep your camera and mic on or off, whatever you're comfortable with. Though, I will mute everyone during the journaling prompt time, so background noise doesn’t potentially disturb anyone.
Please don’t hesitate to put in the chat any questions that you might have. I’ll stay alert and keep an eye on the chat in case anyone needs further clarification or examples. Don’t worry about coming in late, just know I will mute you upon entering if people are journaling - but I’ll put the prompt in the chat so that you’re able to join in when you can.
