Transgender Day of Remembrance

Every year, the LGBT Center of Raleigh hosts a candlelight vigil to honor the trans siblings we've lost over the last year. Attendees will be able to fully participate by reading the names and stories of the each person our community has lost.

A reception for folks to gather will follow the vigil at The Green Monkey on Wilmington Street. It's about a 5 minute walk from the vigil down Wilmington Street. There is free street parking and free parking in the Wilmington Street deck right next door.
