What we’re about
Vision: To offer a safe place for those with mental health variances to explore where God is in the midst. To build hope and foster Spirit-led connection among members, connecting members to mental health resources as necessary.
Mission:
1)To facilitate worshipful support groups that allow people to come with their faith and their doubts, their joy and their sadness, and to be heard and to connect with others who understand.
2) To provide access to groups in an equitable manner regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background.
Two cool facts that came out in our recent survey:
89% of our members said that our groups improved their mental health or overall wellbeing.
100% of members said they felt heard in our groups.

As the coolness and colors of fall approach, let us gather together by the warmth of the crackling fire to share our spiritual curiosities, our burdens, and share some hot chocolate and s'mores. This event hopes to offer a safe space for those with mental health variances to explore where God may or may not be in the midst of this current chaos. May we be a blessing to each other in this warm space.
We want to offer a space where each one is heard and where meaningful relationships form, personal and spiritual growth occur.

Bridging the Gap Between Counseling and The Church
We are a weekly worshipful support group, passionate about integrating our experiences involving mental health variances with our relationship with God. Our purpose is To provide space for a community of people to build relationships and explore the intersection of their faith, life struggles, and mental health.
Here we seek to offer a safe place to explore where God may be, ( or perhaps doesn’t seem to be), in the midst of our own struggle and inside this current chaos. We are a spiritual group for people with mental health variances—a place to be heard and to connect with others who understand. The format is a mix of liturgy, small, and large group discussions, and listening. Facilitators lead in highlighting a song and scripture passage to begin encouraging authentic sharing of glimpses of God we see and our struggles despite our faith. We always begin and end with a brief check-in from each person; to express our current mental or emotional state.
We are a friendly, open, and honest group. We come with our own needs desiring a place to meet safely and be accepted and supported as is. We are dedicated to creating authentic and encouraging relationships, but we are not a romantic or dating group. We are invited to come as we are; doubting, hurt, broken, lonely, desperate, anxious, grateful, curious, or anything in between.
Each session is intentionally planned and led by facilitators who have masters degrees in counseling or divinity. If you would like to help sustain these efforts please GIVE here.
