Returning to the Feminine: Health, Rhythm, and Connection
Details
All of us carry within us a unique blend of what we might call "masculine" and "feminine" energy, and In this month's informative event, psychologists Rose van Ooigen and Anke Nunheim will explore the ways in which we relate to ‘the feminine’ within and around us, and the (sub)conscious beliefs we may have formed around this topic.
Rose and Anke will guide us in reflecting how these beliefs impact our physical, mental, and emotional health especially living in a society that tends to place a high value on stereotypically ‘masculine’ qualities.
As burn-out, fatigue and chronic illness continue to rise, we will look at the idea of ‘softness as strength’, the value of rest, and the beauty of embracing our cyclical nature.
Weaving together themes of feminine health, ecological inter-connectedness, and personal embodiment, Rose and Anke encourage compassionate exploration of this multi-faceted topic and welcome people of all genders to join in.
The presentation will include discussion, as well as (optional) experiential moments.
This event is relevant for all therapists and coaches who are interested in extending their knowledge and practices, as well as anyone who is generally interested in psychology and self-development.
