Serra do Louro & Serra de São Luis

Hello Everyone!

We will hike in Arrabida (Serra do Louro & Serra de São Luis). It is a 17,5km circular hike with ~400m of elevation gain. Difficulty: Moderate

We will meet at 10:15 at the bus terminal in Oriente (platform 22C) and take the bus (4710) that leaves at 10:30. We'll be in Palmela at around 11:10am.

On the way back, I expect to take the bus to Oriente at 17:30.

If you will go by car, please be in Palmela before 11:10 AM and let me know in advance.

Pack a picnic lunch and at least one and a half liters of water. Hiking boots, a hat, long sleeve tops and pants, sunscreen, and sunglasses are advised for a comfortable hike. You can bring a raincoat with you, just in case.

This event may be rescheduled/canceled depending on the weather conditions.

If you would like to contribute towards the Lisbon Hiking Meetup costs, please prepare a contribution of 2 euros per person for this coming hike. This is simply a chance to contribute toward the group's costs.

Whether you already have a place or are still on the waiting list, if you later change your mind about coming, then it is very important that you change your RSVP, so another member can participate instead.

It is not allowed to smoke and to leave any trash during the hike!
