Great Reads Book Group: The Odyssey

Sign up for a lively discussion and an excuse to read (or reread) classical works of literature. To facilitate discussion, I will highlight some key points in each of the assigned readings and then we will open the floor for discussion.

The initial schedule is as follows:
The Odyssey:

• Books 1 & 2 - September 11th
• Books 3 & 4 - September 18th
• Books 5 & 6 - September 25th
• Books 7 & 8 - October 2nd
• Books 9 & 10 - October 9th
• Books 11 & 12 - October 16th
• Books 13 & 14 - October 23rd
• Books 15 & 16 - November 6th
• Books 17 & 18 - November 13th
• Books 19 & 20 - November 20th
• Books 21 – 22 - December 4th
• Books 23 – 24 - December 11th

After The Odyssey, the plan is to read The Aeneid.
