Mount Kinabalu is Malaysia's highest mountain and is an extremely popular climb, especially amongst beginners even though it is above 4,000m. It is one of the more accessible 4,000m mountains.

The Mount Kinabalu hike is quite regulated and expensive. There are limited permits per day and the permits need to be booked in advance.

==> Entry level for hiking as Kinabalu is reasonably comfortable as a hike

**Technically, Kinabalu is doable for most beginners, or even those new to hiking although it will definitely be tiring/painful.

Flight: Scoot
SG - KK: 09:00am - 11:30am
KK- SG : 12.05pm - 14:25pm
Trek Duration: 2D1N

Itinerary
Day 1: SG - KK, sleep in hotel.
Day 2: Hike to base camp, buffet dinner and sleep for the night
Day 3: Early morning trek to Summit for sunrise, descend all the way down, head to KK to sleep.
Day 4: KK - Singapore

If you wish to extend the trip by staying longer in Kinabalu or in a different accommodation, go ahead!
