**[True Blues](https://www.facebook.com/TrueBluesNoCo)** hosts a **blues dance** on the 2nd Thursday of every month at **[Grimm Brothers Brewhouse](https://www.grimmbrothersbrewery.com/)** in Loveland. Music provided by DJs. Social dancing is from 7:00-10:00pm. There is a beginner's lesson from 6:00-7:00pm. Cover is $5.

True Blues aims for about 80% blues music, though individual DJs may vary. The first DJ set is usually more medium to fast, and the second DJ set is more medium to slow. Blues footwork is primarily two-step. It’s more relaxed than swing dancing, though dancers can incorporate multiple styles. The blues dance style aligns well with fusion dance, where multiple musical styles and multiple dance styles can be incorporated.

I will have a sign on a table, and be wearing a black hat and black shirt. We can dance with others within the meetup group, though feel free to dance with a partner or with the other dancers there.

Grimm Brothers is now in South Loveland on 14th Street in Building B of the former Hewlett-Packard campus, now known as the Forge.
