**EVENT:** Join us for an evening playing Hand and Foot Canasta. Enjoy meeting new people, social interaction, camaraderie, challenge, honing your card skills, communication, mental stimulation, bidding, and scoring points! This is a group for people that know how to play canasta type card games. You do not need a partner. You can play this game individually one to one or you can play in teams of two against two or you can play in teams of 3 against 3. The minimum required for this event is 4 people. The maximum is 24 people. **🃜🃚🃖🃁🂭🂺**
There are many versions of this game, so house rules apply. We review the rules at the start of each evening. **WHEN: THURSDAYS.** Every first and third Thursday of the month. Card game starts at 6:30 pm and goes until whenever we want. **The place closes at 12 midnight!!** Happy hour drink 🍷🍸 and food 🍔 🥗 🍨 menu prices are in effect 9 pm – 12 midnight. They have given us a good special on Thursday ….½ price bottles 🍾 of wine 🥂 all evening.😁
**COST/PAYMENT:** N**o c**ost for yearly pd members others pay a $2 Meetup fee for each event. You can pay the volunteer organizer.
**WHERE:** **Original Joe’s McLeod** 7403 McLeod Trail SW, Calgary, AB T2H 0L8
**RESERVATION/HOW TO FIND US:** We have a reserved area in Original Joe’s with a Meetup sign on the table. We are seated at high top tables.
**AGE RANGE:** For Singles 50+ and others. This is a multi-Meetup/Facebook event.
**DRESS CODE:** Dress comfortably in layers.
**PARKING/TRANSPORTATION:** Ample free parking available in the back lot of the venue as well as lots of street parking. 🚗
**OTHER CONSIDERATIONS:** The venue is providing us the space at no cost, please order food and/or drinks to support them. Ask the server for the daily specials🍰🍔🍕 No outside food or drinks please. You are welcome to wear a mask if you wish.
**CONDITIONS:** If you must cancel, please give 36 hours notice as no-shows and short cancellations (less than 36 hrs) are recorded. Short cancels 😒 disappoint others expecting to play with partners!! If you are sick, do not attempt to participate ... please stay home.
**WAIVER:** By signing up (RSVP) for this event, you signify that you are aware of all the risks associated with this event and are aware of your physical and emotional limits and how they relate to this particular event.
