Holiday Cheers at Altar Society

Join us for a festive evening at Altar Society Brewing Co. We’ll be hosting a White Elephant Gift Exchange and an Ugly Sweater Competition—perfect for sharing laughs and getting into the holiday spirit. This event is being cross-posted with other community groups like Paddle LA and OC & Golfing LA and OC, so it should be a great turnout!

Event Highlights:
White Elephant Gift Exchange

• Bring a gift that’s funny, thought-provoking, or something you’d like to part with.
• No need to spend money—this is just for fun!
• Numbers will be handed out upon arrival, and the exchange will begin at 8:00 PM.

Ugly Sweater Competition

• Wear your ugliest, funniest, or most creative holiday sweater or outfit.
• We’ll be voting online to choose a winner, so get creative!

Venue Details
Altar Society Brewing Co. is a unique brewery located in a Historic Masonic Temple in Downtown Long Beach. With a fantastic selection of craft beer, a full bar, and delicious food options, it’s an ideal place for a holiday celebration.

• Our group will be in the reserved backroom (coffee section).
• Separate checks are allowed to make ordering simple.

Important Notes:

• This event is free, but purchasing a beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) or some food is mandatory. Supporting the venue helps us ensure they’ll host us again for future events.
• When you arrive, head to the back and look for a friendly group. If you have trouble finding us, call me at 562-537-9206.
• If you’re feeling unwell, please stay home and join us for a future event.

Parking:
There’s a parking structure off 3rd St. and Pine Ave., just half a block away. Parking is free for the first two hours and only about $1.50 per hour afterward.

Additional Information:

• This is a casual, informal event open to anyone 21 and older. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, enjoy good company, and have some holiday fun.
• Running late? No problem—join us when you can.
• Please plan for a designated driver or use Uber/Lyft to ensure everyone gets home safely.
