Online Class: Beliefs and Divinity

Living Earth offers this class on exploring beliefs about Divinity. At Living Earth we believe you are the person who can best decide what you believe, but many spiritual seekers haven't yet found the vocabulary or had the safe conversational space to talk about different ways to believe. We will discuss the stages of faith that many people experience throughout their lives, and different ways neo-Pagans think about the Divine. You'll gain valuable insight into various types of theism common to Pagans: polytheism, pantheism, panentheism, deism, atheist humanism, naturalism, agnostic theism, impersonal idealism, monism, animism, duotheism, and flexitheism. We will learn about orthodoxy vs orthopraxy, and explore your relationship with the divine. We might conclude the class by experiencing of the Charge of the Goddess, the Charge of the God, and the Holy Mother Prayer. Please note, this agenda is tentative and may change depending on who is facilitating the class.

Teens and adults of all experience levels are welcome to join in this and all classes posted here in the Living Earth meetup. We will be teaching 11 classes (appx three per month) between September and November, 2024. You can attend just one, several, or all classes. We only teach this series once every two years, so if you've wanted to go deeper and learn more, now is your opportunity.
