Welcome to Living Low Key!
This is not a singles only group however most people in the group are single. Please do not join thinking this is a dating platform, it’s not. We do understand that organically people will hit it off and might date, however, I cannot stress enough this is not to find dates. Join us for a variety of fun events like live music, dancing, dining out, wineries/breweries, outdoor adventure, happy hours, card/board games, trivia, bingo etc.
This group is for people looking to build friendships and we expect you to be active in the group. Our members are very friendly and welcoming, but you can’t get to know people if you don’t come to events.
Currently our events are in Columbia and as we grow we will cover the surrounding areas. Please consider if these events are for you before requesting to join. Members who are inactive more than 1 year will be removed from the group, however you are welcome to rejoin if/when you have more time.
Please be courteous and keep your RSVP up-to-date. If you say you are coming we will be expecting you and others may be waiting to attend. Multiple no shows will result in you being removed from the group. If you are new and nervous about attending please choose an event that you can arrive to early. It is helpful to find the event host and meet them one on one so they can introduce you to others in the group. This is harder to do if you arrive late and you may not even be able to find the group. Once more on the Rules:
- PLEASE use an actual photo of yourself for the profile picture (it's required). Makes it easier to recognize one another.
- No tolerance with harassment. Safe environment to reach out and the person harassing will be banned from the group. I want everyone to feel safe and welcome.
- 1 year of inactivity will result in removal but you can rejoin.
- When you RSVP please attend the event. If things change, move over to Not Attending. Multiple no shows will result in removal but you can rejoin.
