NOTICE: Rescheduled for January 8th, 2025.
Special Event!
Join us for dinner at the Yard House downtown Denver before Douglas Murray's Save the West tour show at the Paramount Theatre.Douglas Murray is on tour for his new book The War on the West. A handful of LCR members are planning to attend the show after dinner and you should too! Val has a couple of tickets up for grabs. Email Val, otherwise, tickets are still available here.
About The War on the West
"In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn't we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?"About Douglas Murray
"Douglas Murray, a British author and journalist, is known for his international bestseller, The War On The West. His previous book, The Madness of Crowds, was a bestseller and ‘book of the year’ for The Times and The Sunday Times. The Strange Death of Europe: Immigration, Identity, Islam was a Number 1 non-fiction bestseller and has been published in over 20 languages. Described as “the most compelling political book of the year” by The Evening Standard, it was praised by notable figures including Nick Cohen and Rabbi Jonathan Sacks. A prolific debater, Murray has spoken at the British and European Parliaments and the White House and appears regularly on major political debate programs and podcasts."Dinner @ Yard House - Sheraton Downtown

Show @ Paramount Theatre
"Built by Temple Buell for Publix Theatres in 1930, Paramount Theatre instantly surpassed the standards of the dozens of theatres that lined the streets of Denver and has remained the only local theatre of its time to maintain its original dignity and glamour. It is significant not only as an excellent illustration of Art Deco design and craftsmanship and a tribute to an architect who made considerable contributions to the Denver region, but as a unique reflection of a broad social and cultural phenomenon that prevailed in the early decades of the 20th century in Denver and the entire nation. "Located at 1621 Glenarm Pl, Denver, CO 80202
