Join me for an afternoon of exploring Horseshoe Bay and Whytecliff Park. There's usually seals in Horseshoe Bay, and if we're really lucky, we might see whales at Whyte Cliff

Meet at 1pm, leave by 1:15. If you're running late, please message me so I know to wait for you

We'll meet in Horseshoe Bay by the entrance to Olive & Anchor, so folks coming via transit can meet up with us), walk 30 minutes along Marine Drive to Whyte Cliff Park, and then walk back. There's beaches and neighbourhoods to explore along the way. After, we'll have happy hour/dinner at Olive & Anchor in Horseshoe Bay

It should be an easy walk to and from Whyte Cliff, with a some hills. Do expect shore rocks and sand at Whyte Cliff, so if your balance is not great (like me!), bring hiking poles.

If you're only coming for the walk, then dogs are welcome. Please ensure your dog is properly socialized (with both people and other dogs) and responds to your commands. Respect leash bylaws.

If you're coming by car, note the street parking restrictions. There's a pay lot in behind Olive and Anchor, accessible off Royal Avenue, just past Bruce Street (look for the lane to your left as you're driving towards the water)

Please be courteous and remove your RSVP if you are unable to go in a timely manner. No Shows will not be tolerated - 2 strikes and you will be removed from the group.
