Join me for a walk through North Van neighbourhoods and parks. Note, part of the route will take us into Heywood Park, where the trail will be a bit rooty and rocky. Good hiking boots or trail shoes are a must.

Meet at 10am at the Murdo Frazer Trailhead at 2909 Crescentview Drive. Leave no later than 10:15am https://nicelocal.ca/british-columbia/cultural_places/murdo_frazer_stairs/

Moderate pace, some elevation (there are stairs)

2 hours approx, but might take longer than that, depending on our pace. After, maybe stop at Krave Yogurt in Edgemont Village for a treat https://www.kravekulture.ca/

If you're coming by car, recommend parking on Crescentview Drive, near the trail head. Note most places in Edgemont Village have a 24 hour 1 or 2 hour limit. Make sure you are parked in a spot with no limit!

We will do a loop that takes us down the stairs to Murdo Frazer, then either cross the highway at the overpass at Pemberton or via the tunnel via Terrace Avenue. Walk to 24th and then head east over to Heywood Park.

We'll explore the trails in the park, down to the playground at MacKay Avenue and Marine Drive.

Cross Marine Drive, down to the Spirit Trail, then over to Fell Avenue (maybe see seals on the log booms)

Head North, into Mosquito Creek Park

At the Delbrook Rec Center, we'll head west back to Edgemont Village and back where we parked

This is a dog friendly route, but dogs must be well socialized with people and other dogs and MUST respond to your commands.

Please be courteous and remove your RSVP if you are unable to go in a timely manner. No Shows will not be tolerated - 2 strikes and you will be removed from the group.
