Parking on single yellow in W9 is free on Saturday and in most residential parking spots. The closest is Blomfield Road and Delamere Terrace.
Also if you are walking there, from the Paddington station it might be a bit tricky. Ask for direction towards the canal. It's easier and prettier to walk from Warwick Avenue tube station. (Red dots walk in the photo below). This event is also advertised in our collective group:

Join us, an ADHD tribe for our monthly meet up in person in Paddington Basin: Evening Social by the Canal at Paddington Basin 🛶⛵, Sat, Nov 30, 2024, 6:00 PM | Meetup
- Adult ADHD Monday Zoom: Topic, solution-sharing, check-ins.Link visible for attendees
Join our host Peter for an informal and semi structured zoom discussion - all welcome to check in and join the discussion, remembering to welcome and support the newcomers in particular.
We split the time in halves, firstly with checking-ins and meeting each other and allowing all voices to be heard, in a safe space. The second half we track to a theme like: trick and hacks for getting things done, or a popcorn topic presents itself during the first part.
Cameras must be ON or you will be refused entry to the meeting. This is for the safety of all our members. Abuse will not be tolerated. For new people we need to see you, so we can encourage people to participate. Sharing not staring.
We love an open discussion, but the Meetup event does not have time and space to go into deeper topics so we facilitate the space as structured discussion. We understand that there are very difficult personal situations and we will be hosting a further set of Meetups where we can explore deeper issues that have come in the past on a regular basis.
Safeguarding is our topmost priority and we ask all participants to respect the communication space. Please genuinely participate in a pure friendly intention that promotes meaningful discussion. We remove men who use this space for unsolicited communications as they are on a dating app. We proactively monitor communications in the chat and on our WhatsApp groups for reports and feedback that leads to a removal process. We ask female members to be forward in reaching out and letting us know if you feel communication has an ulterior motive. We have run this group for many years and this is rare. ADHD people are a brilliant and special group and nearly all of us believe that we can really help each other. I just want to make this guarantee up front. We have a very good track record of safeguarding our people and with our ADHD skills we feel that we can make a safe and caring space.
We have noticed that the ADHD space can become very active so we ask you to monitor your regulation of energy. We use a principal of a “light” rule of not “Crosstalking” and hearing the voice and be with the person sharing and maybe if a question does come to mind think how this question might land and maybe if you rephrase the sentence while you wait to delicately place yourself in the conversation.
The internet does have some problems and we are no different, we sometimes get trolled by young hackers what want to cause distraction with “their humour” we ask that you set up your name before you join the zoom to be the same as your Meetup name so we can cross reference you zoom name with your meetup name. We will not let you in if we do not find the cross reference and we leave you in the waiting room until we can verify who you are.
