Enjoy socialising and discussion inspired by National Portrait Gallery's exhibitions, as we head to their Friday Late event to explore ideas about art, culture and society with a programme and "Drop in" Architectural drawing and design activities.

As a group, we have a few drinks and socialise at a nearby bar, after for drinks.
Get to know London's Bohemians, culture seekers & artisans, & discuss the art on display.

7.30 :
If you are a few minutes late, don't worry, 7.15-7.30, we introduce ourselves and make acquaintances until the group assembles, so you can catch up with the group just inside the entrance until then.

Remember to get a small orange dot sticker (handed out to everyone on arrival) so that you can keep track of everyone in the group throughout the evening.

Friday evenings at the British Museum are an occasion for a wide range of events, including lectures, discussions, film screenings, special music and dance performances, many of which are related to current exhibitions.

The British Museum's collection spans two million years, and includes cultural and historical exhibits from around the world.

Being in London's Russel Square, local bars benefit from the energy, intrigue and dynamism that comes with the Central location - with a scholarly feel, - thrown in for effect!

Meeting
7.00 :
We meet just inside the large white "dome room," (See photos section) which is easy to spot when you enter the Museum, (from Great Russell Street.)
If entering from the front entrance, at Great Russell Street, go through baggage check & pass through an entrance hall. You will arrive in a very large, white dome shaped room.
The meeting point is just to the right, near the information desk

Its a space to have fun, meet new people and understand a bit more about everything!

We have an open and spacious venue all booked for the event. (London Art Bar.) There are plenty of tables & chairs, as well as artwork within the venue that we will be able to enjoy. :)

Perspectives is a regular event, 7-late, bringing you debates, current affairs, focus groups, - and more! - Come and hammer out the issues.
A hang out at the bar follows, so kick back and enjoy a few drinks with London's Artisans, Bohemians & Philosopher-types. :)
You don't need to have a background in philosophy to join. The group is open to anyone interested in talking about ideas.

(- You can also sit back & enjoy the conversation, if your just getting used to the process. :)
No prior reading or experience necessary - just an open-mind.
The group splits into smaller groups once everyone has decided which topics interest them, before we move on to the bar, to socialise & get to know other members.
Everyone is welcome to suggest topics.
