What we’re about

This is a group of amateur mathematicians who meet up (online and in person) and work together on the Collatz conjecture. We're interested in exploring and understanding what is already known about the conjecture and exploring new ways of looking at the problem. People with any level of an understanding of maths are welcome, from basic (GCSE) upwards. The main requirement is an understanding of the Collatz conjecture and an interest in exploring how it could be true for all numbers. As well as basic mathematical skills, skills that could be applied to this problem include: visual/graphical modelling (pen and paper), computer modelling, programming.
