Charlotte Algar & Inês Loubet: Lisbon singer songwriters bring us Brazilian song

For the first time, in two-voice, two-guitar formation, these fabulously talented singer songwriters enamoured with the music of Brazil and Argentina, join forces, playing us music from their respective albums, and more.

Charlotte Algar is a fabulous singer and classical guitarist in love with Brazilian music, a love she has pursued and journeyed with, enchanting audiences throughout Brazil, Portugal and the UK. Her debut album, Tejo, is out now, and in it we discover her instrumental prowess and visceral, virtuosic vocal interpretations with participations from some of the greats of the contemporary Brazilian music scene.

Alongside her, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Inês Loubet, is known for her Brazilian-influenced, dance-inviting songs that seamlessly blend improvisation and jazz harmony with captivating melodies and powerful lyrics. Hailing from Portugal, she was raised in a large family that exposed her to a rich cultural tapestry—African rhythms from her Angolan-born father and the enchanting sounds of Brazilian music from her maternal side.
