We are a friendly fun social welcoming Badminton Club established 1st September 2004.
Heathrow Spidernets Badminton Club is not about winning or losing games it's about taking part in badminton having fun and a laugh.
We Play at Cranford Community College Sports Hall, High Street, Cranford, TW5 9PD on Saturday's 2.00pm-5.00pm
Pay & Play badminton £9.00 Per Person. This must be paid on arrival.
Promotional Offers: Throughout the year Heathrow Spidernets Badminton Club occasionally bring out Promotional offers for members these offers will always be announced on upcoming Meetups click on a date and go to the section 'What we'll do'. (Check out if we have any offers on at the moment).
- We have 5 Badminton courts.
- Feather Shuttlecocks are provided by the club.(PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT USE PLASTIC SHUTTLECOCKS BECAUSE POTENTIALLY PLASTIC SHUTTLECOCKS COULD GIVE YOU A TENNIS ELBOW).
We accommodate all level of players Males & Females from intermediate to strong players.
We do not accommodate complete beginners. The beginners we accommodate are as follows: who can hit a shuttle, hold a a badminton game and know the badminton rules.

We do not have a Peg System.
Rules of Spidernets Badminton Club is 4 Players on 4 Players off.
Rules are as follows:
• The group which has finished playing a game must come off the badminton court and they can only go on the badminton court again if no-one is waiting that is in front of them.
• Players waiting must use the court which comes available first not wait for a specific court.
• If there are less players waiting and they go on the badminton court, players which have come off must break the team and go on the court. This way the courts will continue to be utilise properly and the players will be able to mix.

Heathrow Spidernets Badminton Club takes no responsibility and will not be responsible for any personnel injuries, damage or loss of property.

All Badminton Tournaments have been cancelled till further notice due to covid.
We organise 2 Badminton Tournaments every year (Prizes are awarded to winners and runners ups in the Tournaments).
Our next Badminton Tournament is on ???? (Date to be confirmed) TIME: 10.30am-5.30pm. It will be Spidernets 5th Round Robin Doubles Badminton Tournament 2020. Entry Fee £20.00 Per Person - Includes Refreshments - Samosa, Sandwiches, Crisps, Chocolates, soft drinks and more refreshments. Closing Date to submit Entry Form & Payment: ????

There is a large free Car Park. Drive through the Blue gates up to the barrier which will then open automatically.
Buses:
105, H28 - will drop you outside Cranford Community College in Cranford
111 - will drop you outside The Queens Head Pub, Cranford go towards the mini roundabout when you come off the bus, it is a 2 minute walk.
81, 222, H98 - from Bath Road, Cranford
10-15 Minute walk from the Bath Road.
Come off the bus on the Bath Road in Cranford outside DoubleTree Hotel or Ibis Budget Hotel.
At the traffic lights go down the road called 'The Avenue' walk to the end of the road. Mini roundabout take a right, walk straight down cross the road at the traffic lights or take the footbridge to cross the road. Then carry on straight down and you will see The Queens Head Pub on your right carry on straight down to the mini roundabout. Then carry on straight down and you will approach a blue fence on your left, go to the end of the blue fence and entrance to the school is on your left before the mini roundabout and bridge.
Underground:
Take the Piccadilly line to Hounslow East Station.
Outside Hounslow East Underground station take the 111 Bus heading towards Heathrow Airport come off the bus in Cranford outside Queens Head Pub go towards the mini roundabout when you come off the bus, from there it is a 2 Minute walk to Cranford Community College Sports Hall.
Elizabeth Line:
Take the Elizabeth Line to Hayes & Harlington Station.
Outside the station take the H98 Bus heading towards Hounslow.
Come off the bus on the Bath Road in Cranford outside DoubleTree Hotel or Ibis Budget Hotel.
