**How does this work?**
On the last two weekends of September, we will run four reading sessions to raise money for Mind:

You can participate in as many sessions as you wish.

**How do I participate?**
*Before 21st September:*
1\. Sign up via the Eventbrite links above for your chosen session\(s\)\.
2\. Donate £15 to our [JustGiving ](https://www.justgiving.com/page/sbc-read-a-thon "https://www.justgiving.com/page/sbc-read-a-thon")page for every session you participate in. We welcome any additional contributions you and your friends/family would like to give!
You can RSVP on this meetup page to see who else is going, but **we can only consider you an attendee if you've registered on Eventbrite and made a donation on JustGiving!**

**How are the sessions structured?**
Log into our online events on Kumospace/Arrive at our in-person events. We will do a quick round of introductions where everyone can share what they're reading. We will then have a quiet reading time together, with 10 minute breaks every hour to chat. If you need to take a break and rest your eyes at any point, please do so!

**Do I have to be a Silent Book Club member or based in London to participate in this event?**
Not at all! There will be participants from all over the world. All are welcome; do invite your friends/family to join in on the fun.

**I can't make it, but can I still support you?**

**What should I read in this event?**
The beauty of Silent Book Club is that there is no set book to read, and reviews are completely optional. If you are interested in getting some good recommendations, we will provide before the event a list of books relating to mental health as recommended by members of Mind and Silent Book Club.
