Come and practise Zen meditation (Zazen) with the Dogen Sangha London Zen groups. We sit zazen, discuss zen philosophy and practise in the Soto Zen tradition in the lineage of Gudo Nishijima. more about us

Day retreat with Zazen and discussion. It might be best if you have some meditation experience but come anyway even if you don't and are feeling brave! Or you may want to try one of our shorter Wednesday evening sits in Chiswick first. If you haven't sat zazen before please get there before 9.45 so we can show you what to do. Bring your own packed lunch and wear something you can sit cross legged in comfortably. Further info on www.londonzen.org We start sitting at 10.00 so please get there in plenty of time.

Come and practise Zen meditation (Zazen) in Chiswick on Wednesday evenings with Dogen Sangha in West London. We practice authentic Soto Zen, without all the ceremony, in the lineage of Gudo Nishijima. There will be two twenty five minute periods of Zazen with a five minute walking meditation (Kinhin) in between. This will be followed by a short talk or discussion about Zen practice and philosophy. Please wear/bring loose clothing so you can sit comfortably and get there by 19:15. Cost is £5.00 towards the hire of the room. If you become a regular attender and wish to support us a monthly £20 standing order is much appreciated. Reality is here, freedom is now, all are welcome.
