What we’re about
Welcome to London Fairplay Football (LFF), Founded 2014.
We pride ourselves on having the best combination on Meetup.com of competitive, quality matches along with great camaraderie and a friendly attitude.
We play football matches between 8 and 9-a-side.
We are inclusive. Although, must be 18 minimum.
Our games are action packed and competitive, without the arguments and bad attitudes you sometimes find elsewhere. This is our mantra: good vibes only. Strictly no bad attitudes, aggression or needless heavy tackles. Our games are FRIENDLY! Come to enjoy.
We play on 1/2 of a full-size pitches with 8-a-side at Brunel or 9-a-side at Gunnersbury Park. This is significantly more fun and engaging than playing 5-a-side, in our opinion!
The team sheets are managed to ensure the teams are balanced and an entertaining game is played.
You do not need to commit for every game; just come when it suites you. Simply check the game you want to attend and check when it opens for RSVP.
Don't be disheartened if you can only get on the wait list. There are usually a few shuffles before match day and you always have a good chance of getting into a game.
Bibs and balls are provided, just bring yourself along with some shoes/boots that are suitable for football (you won't be able to play to your best ability if you wear trainers, and we will be advising you to get some football boots if we do see you with trainers).
There is plenty of parking at both sites (see specific event details).
For game cost, see individual game listings.
Any other questions ask Adam (Gunnersbury) or Sakander and Vijay (Brunel).
If you sign up for the first time, please send your phone number in a private message to the relevant organiser listed above.
A quick word on ability:
Although we are open and inclusive, our group has a good standard of football and players are between intermediate and very good ability. If you are at beginner level in football, it may be better for you to develop your skills in a beginner group first as you may get a bit overwhelmed and find that you don't get a proper opportunity to develop your skills and experience.
