Hey, outdoor enthusiasts! I’m excited to share that my good friend Mark Thomsen is organizing the Pride Run, and I’m happy to help spread the word! Join us for this fabulous celebration of fitness, friendship, and diversity! Let’s make it a memorable event together!
Join us in a celebration of fitness, friendship, family, and diversity at Hong Kong's second Pride Run. Pride Run Hong Kong 2024 will be Hong Kong’s second formally organized LGBTQI+ running event and will include a 9 km run or a 5 km family-friendly hike with finisher medals, T-shirts, and a post-run picnic in the park.
We welcome runners and walkers of all paces and abilities. Hong Kong's second annual Pride Run is organized by RaceBase with community partners Out in Hong Kong and OutRunners Hong Kong.
The Pride Run organizers have selected the following community charities as beneficiaries who will receive 100% of the charitable pledges raised plus all proceeds from the event.
AIDS Concern
AIDS Concern was established in 1990 as the first charity and non-governmental organization committed to the service of AIDS care in Hong Kong. Our vision is to create a "Triple Zero" Hong Kong, which means zero new infections, zero stigma, and zero AIDS deaths. AIDS Concern will lead social changes by individuals, organizations, and society to achieve Triple Zero, to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS and eliminate stigma for people living with HIV.
Quarks
Quarks (跨青時刻) is the first and by far the only registered organization in Hong Kong led by and targeting transgender and gender diverse youth. We are dedicated to connecting local transgender youth and empowering them to thrive and realize their potential. We strive to promote our visibility to the general public and collaborate with various sectors to build a society with diversity, equity, and inclusion.
