Wake & Bake - at Jeanne's!
**🍁🌧️❄️Fall/Winter weather: we will have pop-ups and a fire pit. If it's wet, we'll move it all indoors, which may get cozy. It will all work itself out but be prepared, emotionally! 🙃**

A FREE community gathering for those who enjoy or make music and art.
It's a breakfast/lunch potluck and an open jam + song circle.
You do not need to be an artist or musician to attend!
You also don't need to "bake" :-) We are 420 friendly and many of our folks don't...if you do, please be considerate
Sober folks welcome and supported
LGBTQetc welcome & encouraged
We keep it positive! We uplift and support each other, so please leave drama of any kind at home.
If you are sick please STAY HOME and join us next month.

You must rsvp on meetup to attend

Fun starts at noon, we run these open-house style so come and go as you please starting at 12:00 until around 4pm. Please don’t show up early unless you’re willing to help set up! VOLUNTEERS FOR SETUP AND CLEANUP HIGHLY APPRECIATED

PARKING:
There should be plenty of parking in and around the neighborhood. Parking in my driveway is reserved for folks with mobility issues. Please don't block the sidewalk or my neighbors' driveways.

DOGS (etc) : Leave your animals at home. ALL wake-n-bake hosts have their own dogs and do not wish to have other animals at wake-n-bake. Not even your most amazing best-behaved boy ever! Thank you :-)

SMOKING/VAPING: totally cool but do it outside please

POLITICS: The world has changed and we are no longer enforcing the "no politics" rule. This group is 98% liberal AF. We believe in women's rights and the rights of LGBTQIA+ folks. We are against rapists and misogynists. We are pro-choice. If you are a Trumper/MAGA, you likely won't be comfortable here and it's probably best you find a different group to jam with.

The Music
People play originals, folk, rock, bluegrass, jazz, old-time/Appalachian, Americana, pop.. acoustically done! genres galore! There is no official jam leadership, and everyone gets to participate! Musicians, artists and music lovers welcome.

Potluck
participation optional but it works best when most everyone participates!

Drinks
We'll have coffee going. Other than coffee... bring your own drinks and maybe some to share! You can throw your drinks in the cooler, and please respect what others have brought for themselves.

Wake and Bake at the Rail is an open Jam and Chill!
Our crowd is super friendly! This is an easy place to make friends, network with other musicians and songwriters. Come play with others - beginners welcome! Get your acoustic guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, bass (etc) and join the circle! Some folks just come to listen and talk and enjoy the day! There's always a lot of food.

We especially encourage new and returning FEMALE musicians!
You will not be passed by! Guys, of course you are welcome too, and help a lady find a seat! :-)

You do NOT have to be a musician to attend!

We have no current restrictions related to masks/vaccinations.
That said - if you aren't feeling well, stay home!

Limited spots, Meetup rsvp required:
Make your yes a yes! It helps us plan + limit numbers if needed. Please change your rsvp if you can't make it. We notice no-shows!
You may only request 2 spots (+1 guest) per meetup account
so if you have 4, get someone else in your group to join and rsvp...

Don't Forget your MUSIC! (If you make it)
Bring your acoustic guitar/mandolin/fiddle/bass/banjo, etc
Tune up, Turn on, and Drop in!
WAKE-N-BAKE!!!

This is a private gathering.
We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave.
Be good family!
