Longmont Beautification Walk followed by Tea!

Details

TYPE: Beautification Walk| PACE: Moderate | TERRAIN: paved and gravel trail | DISTANCE: 2-3 miles |

This walk will meet in the Jim Harms park (I may change this park depending on where needs more help with trash pickup). We will walk through the park and pickup as much trash as we can to keep Longmont beautiful. I will be getting the Longmont library's trash pickup kit. I am not fully aware how many kits they have but will try to get one for each person or we will buddy up. If you have gloves, grabbers, etc. please comment below so I know what we need.

Afterwards, we will got to Luminous Tea, a great new tea house in town, and we will share some tea and pastries.

Walking Movement Leader:
Jorge Garza: I walk and I squawk.

How to prepare: Bring your essentials to your needs that may include a comfortable pair of shoes, cleats, clothing for appropriate weather, water, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses. Parking is available in the trailhead.

Meeting site: Jim Harms Park. We will meet at the parking lot off of County Road 1.
