Look Out London [Ontario, Canada] is a group of fun-loving people who enjoy a variety of social, adventurous, cultural, and community events, from Meet & Greets, BBQs, games nights, dancing, movies, concerts, pool parties, dining out, pub nights, pizza parties, live music, live theatre, outdoor activities such as picnics, baseball, skating, zip lining, wall climbing, kayaking, horseback riding, beach and indoor volleyball, golf, pickleball, and so much more – we welcome your suggestions to enhance these!!
We welcome people who have a passion for discovery and enjoy getting out and interacting with old friends and meeting new ones. Join LOL to try new things in a supportive, respectful, and fun environment. Our tag line is Friendships are made here.
Look Out London abides by city by-laws regarding smoking or vaping at all events. Each event has a Disclaimer attached so please read the event in its entirety. Some events run by an outside organization may also include a waiver.
In order for your application to be approved by one of the team members, we require your full name including your last name. Once this is authenticated, you may replace your last name with its initial if you choose.
We also require a head shot without obstructions, such as sunglasses. This is for the comfort and security of our membership, not to mention the fact that we want to be able to welcome you at events; especially the first one, which may be at one of our monthly Meet and Greets – these take place at the beginning of each month at various locations.
And lastly, please answer the questions with your application – this helps us get to know you and ensures a good fit.
Look Out London has no fee to join but relies on donations from our members to cover ongoing costs like site administration fees ($310 CAD per year), live entertainment, porta-potties and wash stations, sundries and other incidentals. Please look for our bright YELLOW donation box at many of our events. Small donations make a big difference. Thank you for supporting Look Out London. Near the donation box is a BLUE suggestion box and we welcome your notes.
We have a big blue LOL flag that we set up at our events to help you locate where we are!
Note: Your privacy is important to us so your profile is visible to all members but not the public.
Once you are approved for membership in LOL, you will receive a Welcome Letter which offers more information about the group.
