Topic: Cyber Management

Cyber risk and security are often synonymous, but they are two different concepts when defining and measuring Enterprise IT operations. This talk defines methods and application for cyber risk and cyber security practices. The discussion includes how DevOps, Software Development, Data center, Operations, and Data Governance support the measurement and reporting of cyber at all levels of the organization, and how you can use or develop metrics to better manage with your team. The presentation will be interactive and look to audience members to participate.

About the speaker
Christine Horwege, CyberFathom
Christine has over 20 years of experience in governance, risk, and compliance enterprise program management and implementations that cover physical, information, and cyber technology and leading practices. She holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and and M.B.A. from University of Maryland, Univ College, along with various professional certifications. Christine is on the Knoxville Technology Council (KTech) Board, has spoken at RSA Global Conference, Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), BSides, National Cyber Summit, Women in Tech Expo (Knoxville), and other professional forums. When she is not working or speaking about cyber security, Christine teaches a remote cyber risk management course, travels and road races with her spouse, and spends time with her three (3) children: an active Air Force Officer, Indiana University sophomore, and a Farragut HS senior.
