This will be the second brand new event based from the recently-renovated Tally Ho Inn in the hamlet of Bouldon, in the heart of the stunning Corvedale Valley.

This time we will be walking to the summit of Titterstone Clee, the third-highest in Shropshire, which provides a magnificent viewpoint and from which we can clearly see Brown Clee, the highest in Shropshire, to the north and several other notable high points. I would aim to have lunch on the summit.
And we then have a great country pub, the Tally Ho Inn, to return to.
I have timed it when we are starting to get longer days(dark after 6) so am allowing plenty of time to enjoy a relaxing walk(not much more than a steady 2 miles per hour is required with time for breaks and lunch).
And if you are like-minded you could have a meal at the Tally Ho Inn(serving from 6) afterwards(you will have deserved it!).

I have mapped out a circular route from Bouldon which will be mostly paths and bridleways with bits of road and will be an exploration of rural Shropshire, passing through several timeless villages along the way.
It is about 15 miles although can't confirm until I have done the recce as I may have to re-route because of closed/impassable paths(a problem I have found in this area).
In terms of ascent, the last 3km to the summit is noticeably steeper and represents over half the ascent for the total walk so you can see the rest is spread out over much gentler undulations.

Bouldon - Cold Weston - Hopton Cangeford - Bitterley - Titterstone Incline then Shropshire Way - Titterstone Clee summit - Shropshire Way - Jack Mytton Way - Cleedownton - Stoke St. Milborough - Stokegorse - The Boot - Bouldon

**Distance:** 15.5 miles(25 km)
**Ascent:** 2467 feet(752 metres)

**Parking:** There is a small layby on the bend of the road, just where the access road goes up to the Tally Ho Inn. Park here in the layby, NOT in front of the Tally Ho Inn. I have checked and reckon there is comfortably room for 10 cars - if I know people are car-sharing I can increase the number but, based on recent attendances and the length of this walk, 10 probably isn't a problem.
