We will hike the beautiful trail from Bazil Newman Riverfront Park
(formerly named the E.M. Park) to Kephart's Landing (now renamed Riverpoint Drive Trailhead because old Kephart was a slave owner), and back to the starting point. I think the total distance is about four miles. The view of the river will be stunning.

We may share a historical fact or two along the way about the Goose Creek/Aldi Canal, the Harrison expedition, where to forage PawPaw fruit, and the "**Rock Garden"** a section of fun to run class I & II whitewater rapids. In the spring,
