**One on One Visit - Certified Teams Only!**
We have a request to visit a 105-year-old client, her name is Nancy Miller Livingston Stratford (google it for fun!), who resides at La Costa Glen in Carlsbad. They had to put her 18 yr. old Bichon Rescue down recently and she is pining for another dog. It's not appropriate to adopt another dog for her, so they are looking eagerly for a therapy dog visitation for her on a regular basis. She lives in independent living and has caregivers so in-person visits would be wonderful (and allowed by LA Costa Glen). She doesn't leave her apartment any more so leaving for a visit isn't a possibility.

We are working to schedule visits two or three days a week in the afternoon. She has had several dogs during her life including Airedales as well as her most recent Bichon, so she is comfortable with both large and small dogs. She is a vibrant lady who seems much younger than 105. During her life she has been a pilot during WWII for the UK as they did not have the WASPs (Women Air Service Pilots) in the US yet. You can guess she is not a shy person, and it will be easy to talk with her. The apartment is small so we are looking for one team to visit at a time. The visit can last anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, whichever works best for you and your pup.
