Loma Linda Hospital has a volunteer pet visiting program and they need
more volunteers. Below is the process for you to see the information
for checking out the application process. It does state that you have
to commit for a minimum number of hours per year. I talked to the
coordinator at Loma Linda Hospital and she stated that they do not
require the therapy dog program to commit to the 100 hours per year as
stated in the requirements for volunteers

Search Volunteer
Click on “volunteer”.
Under Requirements, click “apply online”.
On the next page click “apply now”.
On the next page click “P.A.W.S, Pets Aiding Wellness”, and follow the
prompts to apply online. Review the application requirements and the
volunteer agreement. If you choose to continue, you can submit your
application online, and you will be contacted by the volunteer
coordinators to come in for an interview, and they will guide you
through the process of becoming a volunteer therapy animal team.
