What better way to round off the year than a picnic by the beautiful Murrumbidgee River on the East side of Uriarra Crossing. The East Picnic area offers a number of swimming spots, lot's of trees, is dog friendly and lot's of space for a game of cricket.

This is a bring your own picnic event so pack those eskies, grab a picnic rug, blow up flamingo (or pineapple or thong) , your swimmers and let's have fun!!!

DID YOU KNOW: The Murrumbidgee River flows for 1,600 km from its headwaters in Kosciuszko National Park to its junction with the Murray River near Balranald in NSW. The Murrumbidgee River and its catchment are a significant part of the Murray–Darling Basin.
