What we’re about
This meet-up is for dirt bike riders (electric and internal combustion engine (ICE) powered) that want to explore the trails in/around the Las Vegas valley. We are a chill group focused on the adventure of seeing new places on a dirt bike while getting away from the thrash of day-to-day life.
We primarily use the app "On X" to find our initial trails, then meet-up and explore the area and connected trails. We avoid "non-motorized trails" and follow regulations/laws to the max extent feasible.
We are a beginner-to-intermediate group focused on trail riding, community building, and simply experiencing being outside and exploring in the desert southwest.
I ride an "E Ride Pro SS" electric dirt bike, which has a top speed of about 60 mph and a range of roughly 35-40 miles, depending on the terrain. Most of my rides see speeds at or below 30 mph, with a few "sprints" higher, and I'm rarely out for more than 25-30 miles at a time.
