West Coast Swing 🎶🎺🎶

This class is more suited for those that have some experience with WCS or triple timing swing.

West Coast version Swing is different from East Coast, in that the dance moves in a linear fashion referred to as "the slot" that restricts movement to a straight line for the most part. Like East Coast style, it does include a mix of turns and wraps. Musically, it has its roots in jazz and slower blues music using a more conservative energy when danced, and the look is smooth, slinky, and easy. There is no bounce in it like the East Coast style.

During this class, we will begin with side passes, and progress to sugar push, & whips.
