Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) and Role-Playing Games Evening!
Details
Local Dungeon Masters and Games Masters will be running three or four games every Tuesday! These will be straightforward turn up and play games, where pre-generated characters will be available for you - all you need is you and your imagination! Ideal for newcomers, but more experienced players absolutely welcome!
Please turn up from 6:30pm so we can arrange into groups just before 7:00pm and be ready to start rolling dice. (If you have not arrived by 7:00pm, your place may be reassigned and may no longer be available.)
Attendance for players will be £5.00 payable to The Ludoquist.

Ludoquist RPG Code of Conduct
We would appreciate if people take a Lateral Flow Test on the day before attending.
We will always do our best to make sure games are safe and fun spaces for everyone, and we ask that players do the same. Please respect fellow players, and try to ensure everyone has a chance to speak.
Please never be disparaging or insulting towards players - conflicts between characters is allowed (and sometimes encouraged) and banter between friends is great, but conflict between players is not. Please never cross the line into making someone feel uncomfortable or unwelcome. If you do feel uncomfortable please feel free to speak up, or alternatively approach the Games Master privately and we can discuss how best to address.
The following topics will never be introduced in games organised by The Ludoquist, and we ask that you do not introduce them either:
- Sexual assault
- LGBTA+ discrimination or harassment
- Real-world racism (for example, discrimination against others for skin colour and/or belonging to an ethnic background that exists in reality, slurs, or offensive stereotyping)
As a rule of thumb, races and genders will be equal in-game. Any rare NPC who has views to the contrary would be portrayed as both in the minority, and wrong.
Instances of fantasy-racism ( calling elves 'knife-ears', assuming orcs are less intelligent, refusing to serve dwarves, for example), sexism, and references to torture may occur assuming no player vetos, but they will not be the focus of sessions or campaigns and will always be considered negative. If you are roleplaying issues others may find sensitive (for example disability or mental health issues) please do so respectfully.
If a player has a specific trigger, phobia, or similar that they would like to not occur in play please let your GM know and they will have neither judgement nor objections. If you've phobias that you don't mind occurring in play but would like signposted, all GMs are equally happy to oblige.
In general swearing is entirely fine but if a player asks that it's toned down, please do so. Please do also be aware that The Ludoquist is a public venue, and language used should be appropriate to that and please be aware of any neighbouring tables.
