On Saturday, November 16, 2024, Ken Medema will perform a concert at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Mooresville, NC, to benefit Dahlia Grove. The concert, which begins at 7 pm, is free and open to the public.
Medema is an American singer/songwriter who has been performing in the US, Canada and Europe for more than forty years. His lyrics generally provide social commentary on themes such as justice, hunger, poverty and homelessness. Medema was born almost blind.
A portion of the love offerings from the concert will benefit Dahlia Grove, a non-profit social enterprise that empowers and employs women survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and addiction.
From 5-7 pm, Benevolent Bistro by FLOCK, an onsite food truck, will provide meals and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase. Contact www.stpatricksmooresville.org for more information.
