What we’re about
Hello dear members,
This group purpose is to gather and do some fitness together over the internet due to the weather conditions and the cold outside. I am certified Yoga teacher and I like very much to practice and guide my yoga sessions in the middle of the nature, as there are plenty of benefits:
- Connection with the natural world: Being surrounded by trees, plants, and fresh air can foster a deep sense of connection with the natural world. This can evoke feelings of awe, gratitude, and interconnections.
- Enhanced mindfulness: Practicing yoga in nature encourages a heightened sense of awareness and presence. The sights, sounds, and sensations of the natural environment provide a rich backdrop for mindfulness practice.
- Stress reduction: Nature has a calming effect on the mind and body, helping to reduce stress and promote relaxation. The tranquility of outdoor settings can facilitate deeper states of meditation and inner peace.
- Increased vitality: Exercising outdoors can boost energy levels and invigorate the body. The combination of yoga movements and fresh air can leave practitioners feeling revitalized and recharged.
- Improved mood: Spending time in nature has been shown to elevate mood and alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression. Practicing yoga amidst natural beauty can uplift the spirits and foster a sense of joy and contentment.
- Greater connection with the elements: Yoga in nature allows practitioners to experience a closer connection with the elements – earth, water, fire, air, and space. This connection can deepen one's understanding of yoga philosophy and enhance the practice on a spiritual level.
Overall, practicing yoga in nature offers a holistic approach to health and well-being, nourishing the body, mind, and soul in harmony with the natural world.
