Welcome to Luxembourg Professional Singles Social!
This is a group for young professionals in this amazing city who are between the ages of 21 and 55. We may still be single or may be single due to a relationship breakdown. Let’s get together and make new friends and more on. Let us meet for drinks and dinner and other adventures and discover the joy of a single life. Let us make new friends and connections and enjoy life while also trying to change our single status as we can.
We will meet and mingle and make new friends and share our lives and lessons. Perhaps together we can create new outcomes for each of us and never be lonely again!

Here is how we will do things differently -
Ever since covid has occurred the world has changed ways in how we function and operate. Meeting people of various cultures has become difficult with various restrictions and with online events people rarely have the opportunity of meeting face to face and this results in not getting the right opportunity to meet in person.
We will always have hosts at all our events. You will always be greeted by someone
at all our events and introduced to others. (Warm & welcoming hosts to help you
mingle!)

We will minimize no shows by requiring attendees to pay a deposit in advance. No
shows are misleading and not fun for organizers nor for members.
We will not disguise organization costs in opaque ticket prices, commissions from
bars or inflated set menu prices.
We will instead ask for a small charge to help us manage the group and its activities. (Very transparent)
We will strive to attract a high quality membership who prefer higher quality
venues and events. We will not be driven by happy hours, free food etc (as all
of these are eventually balanced out by much higher prices later)
We will constantly request members to help us host events and take a lead on
activities so that we have energy and variety.

We know that feeling, and that's exactly why we have planned this Fast Friending social for the 20-35 age group. Imagine a space filled with people who understand each other. You’ll meet people in your age range who share similar experiences and perspectives. Whether you’re talking about your latest travels, career moves, or navigating the ups and downs of adulthood, you’ll be in the company of those who can relate.
'Fast friending' is our fun and quick way to help you make new connections quickly with both ladies and gentlemen. These are people in the age group of 21 and 35 and so you will be on a similar wavelength. Naturally you can always choose who to speak with based on your preference!
You will need to buy a ticket for attending -

Early Bird - €5 / person
Regular Ticket - €10 / person
Cash at meetup: If you do not purchase a ticket in advance then you can pay Lara cash of €15 when you attend.Here’s how our Fast Friending works:-
- We will meet at 7.00 and have time to get settle down and get a drink. All members can enjoy buy 1 get 1 free drink offer on purchase of their first drink! (soft drink, beer 30cl, or house wine)- From about 7.30 to 8.30 we will run the fast friending system. Half of the group (mixed gender) will stay in a fixed place and the other half of the group (mixed gender) will be asked to rotate. During these intervals, each pair of people will get the opportunity to talk to each other.
- Lara will be hosting the evening and she will organize the fast friending process. He will indicate when you should move to the next person.
- From 8.30 onwards we will stop the system and people will have to chance go chat and interact with those they have met as well as others.
If you are a bit shy or anxious then please come early. Alexis will help you meet other members in a small group and help you settle down and get comfortable. All attendees are also welcome to bring a lady friend along with them for free. This will make it a lot less stressful for you as you will always have your friend alongside.
Our venue for the evening - Updown Bar is spacious, has comfortable seating and not very noisy. We have a reserved area where our members can meet each other in a supportive environment.
- We are not a close knit tight group. Our evenings are warm and comfortable for members attending for the first time and those coming alone. You will not feel alone!
- We have many groups in this city. Members of our other groups who RSVP are included as guests of the organisers in order to give you an indication of expected people.
- This evening is for ladies and gents in the 21 to 45 age group. While some will be at the younger end of this range there will also be others at the other end of the range and lots in-between! You will naturally gel with others of your own age range and so you will always find many attendees who fit your range.
- We are not a dating group. Our events are not organised to manage your dating life. Our group is created to help ladies and gents meet other like minded ladies and gents. Please do not attend our event if a perfect gender balance is important for your enjoyment of our meet-up.
Why do we have tickets?
- Cover our costs - Our host is compensated for their time and work. We also pay meetup and have dedicated staff to manage our events, hosts, venues and communication.
- Group Safety - By securing your ticket we have a record and you contribute to a well organized evening where everyone is more committed and better behaved.
- Management - Tickets help us better manage attendee group size, book suitable space and activity.
