What we’re about
This group aims at exploring the fascinating diversity of human practices and cultures through time and space through anthropology books and documentaries (mainly cultural anthropology). We will take a look at our own culture through the lens of other cultures and search for the universal as well as the unique.
Sensitivity of certain topics:
It is expected that all participants show open-mindedness and benevolence during the discussions. Please bear in mind that some topics may be sensitive and that the group is aiming at freedom of opinion while remaining respectful and as well as showing kindness. Tolerance of other people’s opinion and experience is therefore expected.
Can I come even if I haven’t finished reading the book?
Of course, you are welcome to discuss the book and share your views on the topic even if you haven’t finished reading the book yet.
