What we’re about
LVL1 is a hackerspace in Louisville. A hackerspace is an open community lab and workshop democratically operated by it’s membership. We are friendly community of tinkerers, makers, engineers, educators, scientists, artists, hackers and overall geeks. Anyone who is, aspires to be, or just wants to hang around smart, creative, friendly mad scientist maker/hacker Louisvillians is welcome at LVL1! We’ve got lots of cool tools and equipment. We’ve got a lot of really bright and creative people. We like to work on (and show off) fun and challenging technical projects.

Come make a holiday decoration on the LVL1 Laser! Share Cookies!
This is a festive learn by doing event, where participants will have the oppurtunity to get training for LVL1's 80 watt CO2 laser.
At the end of the workshop participants will leave with a snap together ornament.
There will be downtime - Participants will have the oppurtunity to operate the laser themselves. So:
Bring cookies for a cookie exchange! Store bought or home made. Please Bring Recipes and any and all alergen information!
Tickets are $15 and all proceeds go to the Tim VanSant Makership Fund. Parking is included.
