About:
As communication becomes more essential in a world of rapidly changing technology, the ability to speak effectively is a skill that many find increasingly difficult to master. "Speak with Impact" is about equipping you with the tools to confidently engage in conversations, whether you're part of a small group at work or addressing a larger audience. This session offers a chance to practice speaking in a supportive environment, focusing on pacing, tone, scope, and mindset—skills that help make your message clearer and more impactful.
Drawing inspiration from Simon Sinek, Vinh Giang, and Julian Treasure, this event is designed to be highly interactive. It’s not just about learning techniques but putting them into action through creative exercises that allow you to explore your own style. Whether you’re looking to build confidence in everyday communication or prepare for larger speaking opportunities, this is a space where you can practice, improve, and get real-time feedback.
As communication skills become rare and increasingly vital in today’s world, "Speak with Impact" is a space to build those skills in a meaningful way. It’s about giving you the confidence and clarity to express yourself and be heard in any setting.
As the organizer, I've done multiple startup fundraisers, elevator pitches and project proposals attaining sustainable funds for these beginning projects. However, Covid has made many of our communication skills a bit rusty, including myself. But our success is setting an interactive group that designs interactive ideas that are engaging and not just a "tell me your name and where you want to travel" type of introductions.
This group here is set an entertaining experience, so it becomes that much easier to gain this skill.
Our next meeting is Dec 2, Monday online event.
