What we’re about

Welcome to the Madison Backgammon Club! We are a well established club, and we meetup every Tuesday night at the VFW on Cottage Grove Road. Start time is 630pm, so be there early to register!

We have three tournaments a month, the 1st, 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of every month, with the 3rd and 5th Tuesdays reserved for special events, chouettes, and just general backgammon chatter.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to world beater, we have an excellent range of players that play regularly with us, so for sure you'll fit right in!

We're a fun and friendly group, so come along, give us a try! Your first tournament entry is free, so there's no reason not to!

VFW, Cottage Grove Road (our former venue is closing). Please plan to arrive before 630pm so that we can answer questions, register you for the tournament etc. Tournaments most typically run until about 10-1030 or so - if you make it to the finals! Even if you dont, we have fun games and discussion anyway!

Fun and friendly atmosphere, catering to all skill levels, whether you're a brand new player, someone who used to play many years ago, or if you're a world champion, we promise to have some good competition for you!

The club has been running for nearly 30 years, and we always welcome new members - your first tournament is free, and after that there are low entry fees, with optional side pools if you like the action.

We have a super friendly bunch of regulars, and would love to have you join us. Feel free to message or email via Meetup. We also have a mailing list that I typically send out once a week (for weekly updates only).
