Let's welcome in colder temps and hike around Devil's Lake. We'll start at the south shore and hike up the balanced rock trail (challenging) to the east bluff trail to the north shore and then head back on the Tumbled Rock Trail (easy). The total length is about 4 miles. Bring water and wear good shoes.

The balanced rock trail is a challenging trail that takes us up the bluff. We will go slow, but you need to be in decent shape to do this trail.

We'll meet at the parking lot on the south shore at 10 am. Cell phone coverage is spotty at the park so if you need to cancel or be in communication, do so before 9 am on the morning of the hike. We will leave for the hike promptly at 10:05.

Afterwards, we'll go to lunch at the Tumbled Rock Brewery and Kitchen.

You will need a park sticker to get into the park. A day pass is $8.
