Madison Trail Runners

MTR endorsed gentle winter yoga at 6 pm every Monday the cold winter months.

Every Tuesday evening trail running at the arb! Outdoor yoga returns in May.

We meet at 5:45pm near the UW-Arboretum Visitor Center for a trail run through the arboretum for about an hour (usually 5.5-6.5 miles). Bring a headlamp. We support all paces and leave no runner behind.

If we have bad weather conditions and have to cancel, we will post a message by 4:30 PM.

Thursday Arb runs happening weekly**! Meet at the Visitor Center parking lot at 5:55 am. Bring a headlamp and be prepared for any trail conditions. We will run for about 60 minutes, pace based on how the crew feels and trail conditions (usually 9 -10 min/mile)! The more the merrier.

**On the fourth Thursday of each month, we meet at a traveling location instead of the Arb. Keep your eyes peeled to our Meetup page for the details!

Join the merry Madison Trail Runners (MTR) for our new merch rollout at our annual end-of-the-running-season celebration on Thursday, Dec. 19th.

Come enjoy each other and an exciting RUNway reveal of our first MTR shirt and winter cap! The marvelous MTR merch will be available for purchase along with Great Dane’s great food and drink. We will be sharing MTR trail tales, stickers, and cake!

Gathering begins about 5:30pm for drinks and dinner. The merch unveiling will happen around 6:30pm with cake to follow.
