What we’re about

An online space for people with experience of anxiety, depression or low mood. You might deal with these issues yourself or have someone in your life who does. There is no pressure to talk if you don't want to, you are welcome to come and just listen.

What happens:

  1. Mindfulness - A super-short mindfulness exercise to get us all chill.
  2. Check-in - We will each have a chance to check in and share our individual experience.
  3. Open discussion - An open discussion about whatever takes our fancy.
  4. Take-away - We each share one thing we will take-away from the session.
  5. Mindfulness - A short mindfulness exercise to help us leave all chill.

Emotional safety guidelines:

  1. Kindness - Support each other unconditionally. Avoid offering well-intended solutions or opinions on other people's wellbeing.
  2. Inclusivity - Speak mindfully so that everyone can feel safe to share their unique experience.
  3. Accountability - Share only if you feel safe. We sometimes discuss triggering topics, so do disconnect if you feel triggered or like you might become triggered.
  4. Privacy - Do not share what you hear in this session, or take any screenshots or recordings.
  5. Community - This group belongs to all of us. If you want to improve or change the group's structure, feel free to share with the group or message me.

How to connect:

  • For the best meeting experience download the Zoom app from your usual app store. (It is free!)
  • You can also join using your web browser. (But the meeting experience from the browser is a bit rubbish sometimes.)
  • The meeting 'doors' will open about 10mins before the start time.
  • Click the online meeting link and you will be taken to a virtual waiting room. I will let you into the meeting. There is no password or passcode.
