This time we are climbing the famous peak of La Peñota from the nearby town of Cercedilla.

• PRICE: 14 € for the guided hike
• DISTANCE: 12 kms
• DURATION: 6h (including breaks, lunch, photos stops, etc)
• TYPE: Loop
• ELEVATION GAIN: 800m.
• ELEVATION LOSS: 800m.
• DIFFICULTY: Medium.

➡ HOW TO GET THERE / DONDE QUEDAMOS Y CÓMO LLEGAR.

🚗 We will try to allocate everyone in the available cars, leaving from Moncloa around 9:20h.

🚌 However, in case there are not enough cars available for everyone, there is a bus (684) leaving from Moncloa at 9:00 that can take you to the initial point of the hike, arriving around 10:10h.

Final arrangaments will be made on the day before the hike once we know how many cars are available.

➡ WHAT TO BRING

• Hiking shoes or mountain boots. Trail running sneakers are ok as well.
• A small backpack for your stuff.
• 1L of water or other soft drinks per person.
• Your lunch. A snack will be provided.
• Sunscreen & sunglasses
• A hat or a cap.
• A fleece or warm sweatshirt.
• A light windproof jacket if you have one it is recommended.
• Bring yourself ready to enjoy a wonderful and fun hike with like-minded people! :)

We expect to be back at Plaza de Castilla around 18:00. This expected time is approximated since hiking depends on the group's pace and any other circumstances that might arise along the hike.
